GridLead

Export business leads to HubSpot and Pipedrive

Connect HubSpot or Pipedrive in Settings, select unlocked companies in your search results and send them to CRM. Transfers run in the background with progress and per-company status. GridLead tracks previous transfers to prevent repeat exports to the same connected CRM account.

HubSpot token and permissions

Prepare HubSpot: create a Service Key or a private-app access token in your CRM account, with these permissions: crm.objects.companies.read, crm.objects.companies.write, crm.objects.contacts.read, crm.objects.contacts.write. Use the access token, not a developer API key, Client ID or Client Secret. Contact read/write access is needed to find or create email contacts and associate them with companies.

Pipedrive API token and access

For Pipedrive, open Settings > Personal preferences > API and copy your personal API token. If the API tab or token is unavailable, ask your CRM administrator to enable API access. The integration uses your account permissions to create organizations and notes; it does not create Pipedrive people or deals.

Connect, select and send companies

Review transfer results before retrying. If a CRM response is uncertain, check the company in CRM first: automatic resend is blocked to reduce duplicate records. This is a user-confirmed transfer, not continuous two-way synchronization or an automatic email campaign. CSV and Excel remain available for other tools.

  1. Connect in GridLead: open workspace Settings, find CRM integrations, select HubSpot or Pipedrive, paste the token into CRM access token and click Connect. Check that the connected account appears below the form. The empty token field after connecting is intentional: the credential is not displayed again. Never publish the token or include it in screenshots.
  2. Prepare results: run a company search or open an existing job. Wait for website email discovery if email contacts are important. Filter by category, phone, website or email, then tick the company rows you want to transfer. Review the actual selected rows: filters alone do not constitute a CRM send, and your plan's unlocked-contact limits still apply. Start with one or two companies to check the mapping.
  3. Send and confirm: click Send to CRM in the results, select the connected account and verify the company count and destination. Confirm the send. The transfer runs in the background; you may close the dialog and reopen it to inspect progress. Review each company's outcome rather than assuming the entire batch succeeded.

Where your exported data appears

Verify in the CRM: in HubSpot, open Companies and check the company name, address, first available phone and website. Found email addresses are created or matched as Contacts and associated with the company; existing contact details are preserved. The company phone is not currently copied into the contact's phone field. In Pipedrive, open Organizations: the address is on the organization and collected phones, emails and source links are in its note. Missing data remains missing.

Errors, retries and disconnecting

Resolve errors safely: a rejected token needs a valid access token; a permission error needs the required CRM scopes. A server-configuration notice needs help from GridLead support, not a new CRM token. Already-sent rows are skipped using GridLead's transfer history, not a global search for every existing CRM company. For an uncertain result, check the CRM before retrying to avoid duplicates. Disconnect in Settings when access is no longer needed, and revoke a leaked token in the CRM.

Frequently asked questions

Which CRM integrations are available?

HubSpot and Pipedrive. Connect an account with an access token and the required permissions in Settings, then select companies and choose Send to CRM. HubSpot supports linked email contacts; Pipedrive stores contact details in organization notes. Transfers respect your unlocked contact limits and do not start outreach automatically.

What happens to company emails?

HubSpot receives company records with the available address, first phone number and website. Published emails become linked contacts; existing contacts are reused without overwriting their details. In Pipedrive, GridLead creates organizations and saves available phones, websites, emails and source links in a company note. It does not infer people's names or marketing consent.

Does the transfer send marketing emails?

Review transfer results before retrying. If a CRM response is uncertain, check the company in CRM first: automatic resend is blocked to reduce duplicate records. This is a user-confirmed transfer, not continuous two-way synchronization or an automatic email campaign. CSV and Excel remain available for other tools.
